Journal Français de Droit International / French Journal of International Law
Le Journal Français de Droit International (JFIL) / French Journal of International Law (FJIL) est une nouvelle revue scientifique, en accès ouvert et gratuit, dédiée à la diffusion large des travaux français et francophones de haut niveau en droit international public. Il est ouvert aux droits international privé, transnational et global.
Portée par une association indépendante d'enseignants-chercheurs, la revue vise à améliorer la visibilité des recherches francophones en droit international.
En publiant gratuitement chaque article sélectionné simultanément en français et en anglais, le JFDI FJIL entend renforcer l’impact et la consultation des travaux français et francophones, tout en favorisant le dialogue entre les doctrines juridiques.
La spécificité du JFDI/FJIL repose sur la combinaison de plusieurs éléments :
- Son bilinguisme systématique (traduction des articles par la rédaction)
- Son modèle totalement numérique et ouvert (publication en ligne sur le site du Journal et sur les plateformes de recherche ouverte ; téléchargement libre)
- Son processus de sélection exigeant (double évaluation, par des pair(e)s et en aveugle, de toute contribution publiée)
- Sa gratuité pour les auteurs (aucun frais de publication)
- Son dossier thématique dont le sujet est déterminé, pour chaque numéro, par le comité de rédaction (voir l'appel à contributions en cours), et ses chroniques originales.

The distinctive character of the FJIL/JFDI rests on the combination of several features:
- Its systematic bilingualism (articles translated by the editorial team)
- Its fully digital and open model (online publication on the Journal's website and on open-research platforms; free download)
- Its demanding selection process (double-blind peer review of every published contribution)
- Its cost-free policy for authors (no publication fees)
- Its thematic dossier, whose subject is set for each issue by the editorial board (see the current call for contributions), and its original columns.
The French Journal of International Law (FJIL) / Journal Français de Droit International (JFDI) is a new scholarly journal, open-access and free of charge, dedicated to the broad dissemination of high-level French and Francophone scholarship in public international law.
